Almie

Terms of Service

Last updated 13 June 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Other Shapes Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”), which operates Almie. By creating an account or using Almie you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Almie.

1. What Almie is

Almie is an assistant that helps you manage your email and calendar: it briefs you on your inbox, finds meeting times, drafts replies, and, on your instruction, sends email and updates your calendar. It connects to your Google account with your consent.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device secure. One person per account.

3. Acting on your behalf

Almie only takes actions that change your mail or calendar when you ask it to, unless you explicitly set it to act first. By confirming an action you authorise Almie to carry it out using your connected account. Almie uses AI and can make mistakes, so you are responsible for reviewing drafts and proposed actions before you confirm them. Almie does not provide legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Almie for anything unlawful, or to send spam or harmful content;
  • attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service;
  • use Almie on behalf of someone whose account you are not authorised to use;
  • resell or redistribute the service without our permission.

5. Trial, subscription and billing

Almie offers a free trial. After it ends, continued use requires an Almie Pro subscription, billed monthly or annually at the prices shown in the app and on this site. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, who handles billing and applicable taxes; their terms also apply to the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account, and you will keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you may have a statutory right to cancel a recent purchase; contact us and we will honour any refund you are entitled to.

6. Your content

Your email, calendar and the things you tell Almie remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models.

7. Our intellectual property

Almie, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us. These terms do not give you any rights in it beyond using the service as intended.

8. Third-party services

Almie relies on third parties, including Google and Anthropic. Your use of those connected services is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Almie running well but provide it “as is” and cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update, improve or change features over time, and may change these terms; if a change is material we will let you know, and continuing to use Almie means you accept the updated terms.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £50. Almie is a tool to assist you; you remain responsible for the messages you send and the commitments you make.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Almie and delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. When your account is deleted we erase your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the place where you live.
